Professional reflection and growth for university students
Imua began as a card-based career conversation toolkit with prompts designed to help people reflect on where they stand in their career, rehearse conversations with people they trust, and turn new introductions into lasting connections. Partnering with Enactus Australia, I turned that toolkit into a mobile app built around three pillars: Reflect, Spark and Grow.
Reflect guides students through Now and Future self-reflection with every answer saved as a journal entry they can pick up later. Spark gives them a catalog of conversation-starter cues to break the ice with someone new, then lets them save that person as a contact with notes tying back to the cue that sparked it. Grow helps them nurture the relationships they already have, tracking each contact through a lifecycle alongside the topics and questions they've prepped for the next catch-up.
I led the product strategy, design and build of the app end-to-end, from the original card-based toolkit through to a working iOS product now available at the App Store.
Imua will be used to facilitate connections between students at the Enactus World Cup in Brazil this November 2026, giving Spark and Grow a first real-world test at scale, as students from around the world meet for the first time.
